A&O Hostels is the leading hostel chain in Europe. During my tenure there, I was responsible for designing the Food & Beverage (F&B) areas across all hostels. My role involved maintaining the corporate brand identity according to established guidelines and creating materials in various required languages. Additionally, I contributed innovative ideas to enhance the F&B areas and boost product sales.
We designed a local website specifically for iPads to be placed in the F&B areas of our hostels.
Problem Statement: New regulations required us to inform travelers about the ingredients in our food, making it necessary to provide detailed information on allergens. Given the extensive list of ingredients, a printed menu was impractical.
Solution: We created a local website listing all ingredients, accompanied by specific icons to assist vegans, vegetarians, individuals with allergies, and Muslims in making informed choices about their food.
